Sometimes an advertising message can be simple and effective. No words on a billboard is actually kind of hard to do without getting your message across. In this case, the Hot Wheel’s billboard is a great example of a simple and effective way to advertise with zero words on the billboard. Hot Wheels is a brand of 1:64 scale die-cast toy cars from Mattel, which began making the replicas in 1968. It was the primary competitor of Matchbox until 1997 when Mattel bought Tyco Toys, then-owner of Matchbox. Remember those tracks that fit together and made the loop-de-loop? Well that’s what this billboard is a picture of. May it bring back memories and make you smile.
